To arrange location and improve infrastructure, electrical power and distribution of power, to improve infrastructure for light industries, to build infrastructure for AL Fanad neighborhood, the main road along seaside, to build infrastructure to Al Azeezia, Al Musharoef and Aljar. There are also many educational projects to build 2 universities for boys and girls, the Yanbu Technical Institute and enlarge Yanbu Industrial College.

These projects will open Yanbu II:

Pumping station and piping system to deliver seawater to steam station, pumping and seawater supply, building of Steam Station No. 4 and substations, to produce potable water and build different educational projects.

Adding to these projects, Prince Saud is going to put the base stone to open a number of projects, many to private sector companies.  The total cost of the projects by SABIC is about 28 billion riyals and the others amount to a total cost of 14 billion.  And His Highness ended his work with appreciation.
