Promote downstream petrochemical and mineral industries for Yanbu and Jubail in order to encourage and attract new investment which will result in the Kingdom’s economic diversification and sustainable industrial growth.
Stimulate development of the Kingdom’s downstream industries by making best use of the feedstocks available locally that are currently exported to foreign markets.
Bring together interested investors within and the outside the Kingdom to identify the opportunities available and the potential for downstream industries development.
Diversify the Kingdom’s petrochemicals portfolio by converting basic chemicals into more complex, value-added products.
Encourage the private sector investment in the downstream industries.
Share valuable experience from major world players of the downstream industries.
Create employment opportunities for Saudi citizens by building more labor-intensive downstream industries than primary and secondary industries.
Contribute to the Kingdom’s GDP contribution.
Provide an opportunity for the Forum attendants to see for themselves Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah and to gain first-hand experience in the Kingdom’s industrial development.
