Licensing Statistics
Since its establishment in April 10, 2000, SAGIA has so far licensed 2595 projects amounting to the value of SR 80.385 billion. Foreign investors, from 66 countries contributed 76%, i.e. SR 61.486 billion of total licensed investments, whereas the Saudi share amounted to SR 18.898 billion, i.e. 24%.
The major investing countries in Saudi Arabia include the United States of America, France, Japan, Germany, Canada, Britain, Syria, India, Switzerland and Jordan.
