JTI ‘Open Days’ to Kick Off

Jubail Technical Institute (JTI), under the patronage of HE Dr. Ali bin Hassan Assiri, General Manager of Colleges and Institutes, of Royal Commission in Jubail, with the presence of Royal Commission officials, various Heads of government departments, companies and industries, is set to kick off its Open Days event on Monday, June 14, 2010 which will continue for a week with accompanying activities.

“Open Days are designed to provide visitors and guests a glance of what the institute is really like, explaining them the roles the school will play in the training and qualification of young Saudis, highlighting some of the school’s training programs and various education disciplines at hand, presenting modernized student activities and how it will make an impact in honing their skills and technical expertise during the training process. The event will also serve as an important link of communication to introduce institute to industrial firms to show how innovative approaches fast tracked to producing quality and competent students. Students will also be familiarize with various stages of education disciplines and areas of training institute and will be able to witness some projects and practical exercises carried out by contemporary students of the institute,” JTI official said.

Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Ahmari, Technical Institute Administrator, commented that the Institute is looking forward to actively contribute in meeting the industrial sector’s needs of Saudi citizens in the labor market, and in view of the fact that Royal Commission officials has issued directives who would like to see the important collaborations of scientific institutions in developing human resources to further promote job productivity in the Kingdom which require concerted efforts of public, industrial and government sectors
