On Tuesday 19/12/1432H, Executive President for Royal Commission at Yanbu, Dr. Alaa A. Nassif launched "Social Responsibility Workshop" program in all royal Commission's Cities in the presence of all departments managers, industrial companies and banks officials in Yanbu Industrial City. His Excellency welcomed the people who came and thanked them for participating in the workshop to gather and consult about the city matters. As he urged in his speech on the concept of "Social Responsibility" for private sector and praising the role that private sector plays in fulfilling the social responsibilities principles by the fact that private sector is a major associate in growth support and a fundamental pillar of Natural Economy. After that, Engr. Salah Bahobail, The Director of Economic Planning – introduced a presentation about social responsibility program for private sector in Royal Commission cities featuring the definition of social responsibility, its necessity, its usage locally and globally, concerned international organizations and their latest statistics. He also presented the suggested program of social responsibility for Yanbu Industrial City where its methods and outcomes were discussed. It should be noted that the main purpose of Social Responsibility program for private sector in Royal Commission cities is to ensure the continuation of providing and enhancing programs services, activities, and events which will ensure a better quality of services to community through a committee selected by the Royal Commission called "Committee of Social Responsibility in the City".
