The Port of Jazan City for Primary and
Downstream Industries is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s newest port facility,
located in JCPDI. It is a full-service commercial port with a highly strategic
location. The Port will deliver world-class service by means of
state-of-the-art computer systems and a highly experienced staff. it is being
developed to increase the speed and efficiency of shipping.
The first port owned and funded by Royal
Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the port is regulated and
overseen by single regulator – this is the foundation for a streamlined

Industries is located on the Saudi southwestern coast on the Red Sea. It is
66km to the north of Jazan City, 11.5km along the coast. It has a strategic
location due to its proximity to the international shipping routes and the horn
of Africa, and its proximity to the new international airport and the planned
railway to connect Jazan area and Jeddah city with a total distance of 660
kilometers, and work is currently ongoing to execute oil refinery by Saudi Aramco beside the port.
