JUBAIL 2: FUTURE PROSPECTS.

The success of Jubail 1 has led to the need for expansion in Jubail in order to satisfy the future investment demand. This new development is called Jubail 2 and will double the industrial area of Jubail Industrial City. The Royal Commission has implemented this development to support the Kingdoms national development strategy. This will be accomplished through a phased development which will add an additional site area of 5,508 Hectares.

THE INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT SECTOR IS IMPROVING THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT TO INDUSTRIES THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF:

The comprehensive service center or One Stop Shop.

The One Stop Shop is the focal point and will provide continuous support to the investor, where the investor can find the information, documents, application forms and answers to all his enquiries.

The One Stop Shop will support all aspects of the investment process such as the submission and status of an application for investment, the submission of plans for review and the issuing of permits by the Royal Commission.  Through this focal point, the investor will be able to following the progress at all stages and get the up to date status, at any time. In the near future, all the information and application forms (downloadable in PDF format) will be available via the RC website, around the clock, worldwide, for the convenience of all potential investors. Potential investors will also have access to all the currently available investment opportunities. RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL:

The residential community is located in the north of the industrial zone.

It is comprised of 8 districts of which Al-Fanateer and Al-Deffi have been developed primarily by the Royal Commission and partly by the private developers. The primary (retail / commercial) center is located in Al-Fanateer with expansion work under progress to suit the growing Jubail community. Opportunities in commercial and residential development include development, construction, and lease management of retail and commercial offices. The investment sector participates in studies to update the Jubail Industrial City master plan. These studies take into account future industrial and commercial growth and population growth over 5, 10 and 20 year timeframes.
