Concluding of RCJ Engineers Week Activity in Presence of more than 10000 Visitors

The   Engineering week activity concluded last Saturday evening organized by the Royal commission in Jubail, represented by the Social Services Department at the center of knowledge and Creativity and continued for 7 days in the presence of more than ten thousand (10) visitors, as well as issuing of more than 2000 motivational engineering certificates for children.

The RCJ Engineers week activity has witnessed participation of Saudi female Engineers from the Riyadh Metro project which is considered  to be the biggest of its kind in the world level where they took part in the scientific experiments with the children which enrich the discovery and innovation side  and gave presentations on the Riyadh Metro project.

The RCJ Engineering week activity includes the Engineering corner, which aims to raise awareness of the concepts of security and safety and how to prevent threats around us and to deal with safety laws and procedures as a culture which must be adhered to in all locations. The introduced Engineering disciplines with accompanying workshops and engineering challenge, world cinema, scientific theatre shows and the virtual world.

Many volunteer teams participated in the RCJ Engineers week activity  represented by  Jubail Voluntary Club, Nbd Jubail Voluntary, Waten Mithed,  al-Hay Club in Jubail Industrial City, Jubail University College students,  second secondary school dual courses and the FabLab Jubail as well as the Bechtel Co. volunteers and the Society of Petroleum Engineers in the Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that, the Engineers week activity  aims to deploy the  knowledge about engineering and its specialties, and to educate the public about the importance of following safety measures and helping children and families to discover engineering and its  secrets and increase community awareness about the need for female and male  Engineers in addition to encourage innovation in children and their parents lives .
