170 Biometric Fingerprint Devices in RC Schools to replace Manual Paper work for Attendance
 
Education Services Department of RC in Jubail, recently introduced biometric fingerprint attendance in RCJ schools. This comes in line with RC strive to save time and effort in tracking school attendance and conserving paper and typing consumption, and to link the system between Education Services Department and schools .
 
The new system is expected to contribute at large to time management among the staff and students and enhance their confidence in the attendance system. The new system is featured with easy entry and updating of teachers and students’ names lists, control time delay, issue excuses and leaves, and extracting reports. Moreover, the device maintains a back-up copy for teachers and students Data in case of network outages.
 
Various reports can be extracted from this system such as daily attendance report for school staff, employee status report at a given time, daily attendance report for students, a student’s status during school day, in addition, to the possibility of switching classes and issue attendance course reports at a specific time.
 
The Biometric Fingerprint devices (fingerprint attendance) has been installed at (5)  RCJ secondary schools where more than (170) fingerprint devices were fixed to serve (300) employees and (2841) students.
 
It is worth mentioning that the Royal Commission in Jubail has a highly qualified well-developed  educational environment to serve the students and the staff through many training programs, modern teaching aids and conduction of many projects and fields programs.
