38 Students from Hail Learn about the Success Stories of the Establishment of Jubail Industrial City

The Royal Commission in Jubail received on Tuesday a delegation of 38 students from “Turba” School in Hail within the “Live Saudi Arabia” Program to be informed about the most prominent national achievements represented in this industrial city.

The student delegation watched a documentary narrating the story of Jubail and RCJ’s great efforts in building the city. This was followed by a tour to the RC’s exhibition in which they had a look at the executed projects’ models and pictures supported by numbers and facts of JIC huge achievements.

Mr. Ahmed Al faraj, the tour guide, said that the program aims to strengthen the students’ national belonging through introducing them to the country’s accomplishments and strengthen interconnection between citizens through direct communication, get acquainted with different cultures, build personal and cognitive abilities, encourage positive values among youth, raise awareness of their role in introducing their homeland, and closely introduce youth to their homeland’s cultural heritage represented in thousands of historic, archaeological and cultural sites, social life and various cultures in each region in the Kingdom. Al faraj added that there is a large number of students who knows little about Jubail Industrial City which represent the first industrial destination in the Kingdom. From that perspective, we found it an opportunity to introduce Jubail Industrial City during the visit.

On their part, many students expressed their delight at this visit through which they saw a Saudi city uniquely planned and designed.
