Poll results conducted by the management of (Qyami) program organized by the Royal Commission in Jubail in cooperation with Shell Company showed that 95% of the participant changed their thinking and dealing with other positively, while 89% adopted a positive attitude towards some wrong behaviors, 87% used what they learned in their daily lives. The program has enhanced self-confidence in 95% of the participants, while 96% showed their happiness and eagerness to attend the program, while 98% wish to enroll again in the program or similar educational programs.
The Education Services Department in cooperation with Shell Company concluded (qyami) program. under the auspices of the General Manager of Public Services Mr. Abdulaziz Almisnd and the presence of the Director of Football Net Program at Shell Company and a number of educational leaders, teachers, parents, and participating students at the sea club in Jubail Industrial City.
The ceremony began with presentation about the program, then the message of the coaches and participating students where they reviewed their experience in the program. After that, the sponsor walked around to the participating groups where they presented a number of skills that they had been trained in.
At the end of the ceremony, the General Manager presented a plaque to the program partner (Shell Company), received by the Director of Football Net Program Mr. Mohammed Abu Saif. School principals, program supervisors, trainers and participating students were also honored too.
(Qyami) program was launched by Education Services Department of the Royal Commission in Jubail in cooperation with Sell Company an value educational program for primary school students to control behaviors and promote positive values to build their personalities and enhance their behaviors through sport activities conducted physical educational classes and schools activities during the school day.
The program’s management has adopted five educational values: (Respect, Modesty, Teamwork, Integrity, Self-development) where students are educated and trained on these values through play phases that go through several stages, starting with introductory phase in which the trainer explains the value and areas of its use theoretically, followed by the practical application phase to acquire and embed the value in students’ minds through recreational and competitive sport activities and games. Then the evaluation phase at the end of training period through discussion session with questions about the value and its use in everyday life situations.
(Qyami) program was conducted in 4 primary schools, where 397 students participated, and supervised by 17 teachers and instructors.
