On Wednesday morning, a delegation from the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs visited the Royal Commission in Jubail to benefit from the Royal Commission’s experiment in roads and parks landscaping projects and success stories in landscaping projects.
The delegation watched a documentary narrating the story of Jubail Industrial City and the Royal Commission in Jubail and its great efforts in the city's construction. This was followed by a tour for the delegation members in the Royal Commission Exhibition in which they had a look on prototypes, pictures and implemented projects models which were supported with numbers and facts highlighting Jubail Industrial City's enormous achievements. Then, the delegation was taken on a field tour to beaches and parks.
Afterwards, a meeting was held between the visiting delegation and the Royal Commission Landscaping and Irrigation Department in which several topics were discussed such as water, parks, landscaping, green spaces, and water distribution system in addition to infrastructure piping system.
At the end of the visit, members of the delegation expressed their delight and admiration for the Royal Commission success story in different aspects of industry, investment and facility preparation.
It is worth mentioning that the Royal Commission in Jubail has recently achieved first place in the Arab Towns Organization Award for Forestation for having specialized references in accordance with a scientific plan for forestation.
