The Managing Director of Jubail Industrial College of the Royal Commission in Jubail, Dr. Eid bin Mohammed Al-Hajri, inaugurated, the Safety and Fire Protection Training Center in cooperation with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Jensen Hughes Company at JIC. This step aims to provide professional programs and accredited certificates in the field of safety and fire protection, and supply the industries with the necessary competencies in both fields.
The managing Director of Jubail Industrial College, Dr. Eid bin Mohammed Al-Hajri said that one of the main objectives of the college is to develop human resources of the employees of Jubail Industrial City through providing programs and specialized courses. Accordingly, a safety and fire protection training center was established with the necessary laboratories which are the latest in this field. These laboratories were established as per international references and under the engineering and technical supervision of Jensen Hughes, an American Company, which is a leading engineering consulting firm for fire protection.
The Center aims to provide training programs and courses through curriculum development as per international references adopted by the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA, USA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA, USA).
Jubail Industrial College is keen to be a milestone in the development of national labor working with high efficiency and quality to serve the development plan which is being implemented in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
