Last Friday, HE, Ahmed Jaweed the Indian ambassador to the Kingdom escorted by a number of diplomats in the Embassy and their families visited the Nations Heritage Festival organized by the Royal Commission in Jubail in Jubail industrial city.
HE, the Ambassador toured the heritage ward, comprising a number of communities from around the world, including the Indian community corner which was dedicated to display information about the Republic of India, its geography, the used languages, the administrative counties and general information about tourist landmarks and the prominent historical and contemporary India leaders.
The ambassador expressed his admiration of the efforts exerted by RC in organizing the third Nations Heritage Festival and appreciated the opportunity given by the Indian community to introduce the Indian heritage and culture.
It is worth mentioning that the Indian community participating in the festival offered free henna inscription to hundreds of ladies on the Indian way.
Mr. Carty in charge of the corner said: “We are displaying pictures of various India leaders across the different ages and presented various types of Indian folklore in addition to information on notable Indian Bollywood stars.”
