the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Agus Abi Jibril, visited the Nations Heritage Festival, which was organized by the Royal Commission in Jubail for 16 days at King Abdullah Cultural Center in Jubail Industrial City. The activities of the Festival ended on Friday 14.04.2017 G. The participation of the Indonesian community was very prominent where they presented folk and artistic shows in addition to its stand in the Nations Heritage Exhibition.
The Ambassador toured the Nations Heritage stands which hosted a number of communities from all over the world, the productive families hall, which included more than 100 productive families and others stands such as the Najdi kitchen, the open studio and the sand sculpture .
The Indonesian community provided extensive information about the geography of the country and overviews of the traditions prevailing in social events. Visitors were able to try a number of folk musical instruments used for holidays, weddings and other happy occasions such as births and others.
The Ambassador expressed his admiration of the efforts exerted by the RCJ in organizing Nations Heritage Festivals which became one of prominent tourist activities in the eastern region. Also, he thanked and appreciated giving the opportunity to the Indonesian community to introduce the heritage and culture of the Indonesia country.
The Indonesian community presented artistic shows described as one of the most prominent activities of the festival and the Organizing Committee received dozens of requests from visitors to bring back the shows of Indonesian community in the theater of folklore shows.
