Jubail Celebrates the 87th National Day with Military Parades
 
Under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the  Eastern Province Governor, Jubail Industrial City and Jubail City Governorate celebrated the 87th national day on Saturday evening through several events under the supervision of the Events Committee in Jubail Governorate.
 
  The events, which took place over three days, started in Al-Fanateer Southern beach with military parades performed by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces represented by the First Group Special Naval Force, the Second Group Naval Air Force and the First Naval Infantry Brigade. In addition to the support boats for transporting military equipment and troops by sea.
The Naval Diving Group performed an air drop of divers from a helicopter, the Anti-Terrorism Force performed a land rope drop from a helicopter and the Naval Special Operations Forces performed quick air drop. Additionally,  the Naval Operations  and Anti-Terrorism Forces performed a helicopter pick-up and drop boats shows. The parades were concluded with the First Special Naval Security Force skydiving from a 10000 feet high Super Puma helicopter.
 
The events included a dancing fountain  with national music. Among the events are the exhibitions of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Royal Saudi Air Force, another exhibition for photography and an operetta entitled (Abshri Ya Mamlkatna).
 
In addition, a parade for the civil defense machinery and equipment  took place in Assalam Park. In addition, entertaining activities for families and children took place in Prince Metab Hall in Jubail’s Municipality. The activities included producing families booths, face painting,  recreational theatre, folklore, Saudi Ardhah (local dance).
