The Royal Commission in Jubail recently welcomed the Ministry of Housing delegation to meet with a number of Technical Affairs Sector's officials with the aim of getting acquainted with RCJ’s experiences in housing domain.
RC Officials gave a detailed presentation about housing experience in Jubail Industrial City which is considered a pioneering one worldwide because RCJ applies special standards and specifications that made it a good example and a unique experience for others to follow and benefit from. This is in addition to RC's efforts to encourage and attract industrial, commercial and residential investments.
After that, the delegate watched a documentary about Jubail Industry City and RCJ's incredible efforts to build the city. The delegate was briefed on archival photos of leading figures that visited the Royal Commission in Jubail.
Then, RCJ displayed a special documentary about the residential community in Jubial Industrial City which it consists of (8) main districts. The documentary displayed the interior designs for housing units constructed by the RC for its employees, together with safety means provided in each residential unit such as fire extinguishers, fire alarms and heat insulators. Furthermore, it showed the compliance of housing in Jubail Industrial City to the Saudi building Code. Moreover, the Jubail Industrial City districts are characterized by excellent distribution for services. Services centers such as clinics, schools, and supermarkets were planned with ease of access to the resident.
Then, the delegate toured the Visitors Center Building. They were briefed on types, photos, and miniature models of projects that have been implemented supported with figures and facts reflecting Jubail Industrial City gains and its huge achievements. A special meeting was held with the Technical Affairs Sector.
On the other part, Eng. Mohammed AL-Mudaiheem, the chancellor and General Supervisor of Idle Lands Levy Program at the Ministry of Housing, said that we are proud of the achievements we have seen in Jubail Industrial City. The goal of this visit is to know the capabilities of RC in infrastructure which shall help the Ministry of Housing in its future projects. Eng. Mohammed AL-Mudaiheem thanked RC’s officials for the wonderful coordination for this visit.
It's worth mentioning that the RC has previously signed a Memorandum of mutual cooperation with Ministry of Housing to benefit from the strategies and available plans of both parties in housing.
