Head of an Austrian Company and His Wife visit Jubail Industrial City
Mr. Peter Shenk, Director of the Austrian Commerce & Consultancy Services Company Ltd., accompanied by his wife, paid a visit to Jubail Industrial City to have a close look at the Kingdom's development experience and the rapid progress witnessed in all fields. The guests were received at RC Visitors Center by Mr. Abdullah A. AL-Ajmi, Director of Royal Commission's Public Relations Department, together with a number of RC officials.
Mr. AL-Ajmi briefed his guests on the establishment of the Royal Commission and the great industrial progress achieved in Jubail Industrial City which puts it side by side with the world industrial cities. The two guests were briefed on the achievements of the government of Saudi Arabia in the field of petrochemicals and the giant industrial complexes in Jubail Industrial City. Moreover, Mr. AL-Ajmi showed the basic role played by the Royal Commission to provide the necessary infrastructure and attract investors by providing all services which made Jubail Industrial City the cornerstone of the Kingdom's industry which witnessed the establishment of several joint venture industries. He further said that the Royal Commission is currently carrying out Jubail 2, a new industrial park that will attract a lot of investments to the city.
After that, the two guests toured the different sections of the Royal Commission Visitors Center and had a look at samples and miniatures of the projects carried out, substantiated by figures and facts demonstrating the great gains and achievements of Jubail Industrial City. The two guests' visit also included a field tour of jubail Industrial College, the City's Commercial Center, the city beaches and the residential area, where they saw the services and facilities provided by the Royal Commission for both the residents and visitors. The program concluded by visiting support, primary and basic industries areas. Mr. shenk and his wife expressed their thanks to the RC officials for their warm reception and they pointed out that the visit provided them with sufficient information about the flourishing industry in the Kingdom and in Jubail Industrial City in particular, where they witnessed the progress made in the industrial and service sectors and considered their visit to Jubail Industrial City a total success. They also said that the aim of their visit is to come to know the true image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its advancement in all areas.
It is worth mentioning that Jubail Industrial City and its industrial infrastructure attract many visitors. Moreover, such visits come within the Royal Commission's interest to highlight the current industrial and urban boom in the city.
