Expansion works of the Royal Commission Hospital Start
The Royal Commission has started the execution of the Royal Commission in Jubail Hospital expansion. The site has been closed and provided with equipment after previous structures were removed from the site. The expansion works come to execute the plans and strategies set by Health Services Department in determining Jubail Industrial City future health and medical needs. The expansion includes a new three-storey, 10219 square meters building for out-patient clinics in the eastern part of the hospital land on an area of 2146 square meters.
The new building will be linked to the hospital via a suspended bridge to facilitate movement between the two buildings. Parking and visitors entrance will be constructed. The new building will include the following sections: Internal medicine and endoscopy, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, artificial insemination, infertility, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, urology, lithotripsy, orthopedics, neurology, cardiology and catheter, allergy and bronchial asthma, dentistry, physiotherapy, blood donation clinic, and medical support services such as laboratory external pharmacy and x-ray section. Expansion project period shall be (30) months.
Expansion project is one of the huge development and industrial projects whose cornerstones were laid down by the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during his last visit to Jubail Industrial City. .
