50 PARTICIPANTS HONORED IN THE PROPHET MUHAMMED MERCY TO THE WORLDS COMPETITION IN JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL CITY .
HE Eng. Jassim A. Al-Hejji, Director General of the Royal Commission in Jubail, has attended the draw of the Mercy to the worlds competition for the third consecutive year in Jubail. The draw was organized by Social Services Department of the Royal Commission in Jubail in the presence of Mr. Ahmad A. Al-Amer, Deputy Director General for Public Services and a number of the Royal Commission staff members.
The competition, won by 50 male and female contestants, comes in remembrance of the great manners of the messenger and last of the prophets Muhammed (Peace be upon him). The competition was launched on the 1st of Dhu Al-Hijjah 1429 H and copies of the competition had been sold at all branches of Farm Superstores in Jubail Industrial City for SR 1 each. Funds raised were allocated to Jubail Holy Quran Memorization Charitable Society and copies of the competition had been given to boys schools in the City. The total number of printed copies reached 10,000.
At the end of the competition, HE Eng. Al-Hejji honored the competition's sponsors and supporters, namely World Assembly of Muslim Youth in Jubail Industrial City, Farm Superstores, International Methanol Plant SEBCM, and Mohammed Khalid Al-Suwaidi Industrial Services Co., Ltd. The Holy Quran Memorization Charitable Society was handed the competition check.
The winners had been alerted by sms messages and their names disseminated through Farm Superstores and via CATV.
