Building Code Implementation Committee visits Jubail Industrial City and
witnessed the pioneering Experience of the Royal Commission.

H.E Acting Director General of the Royal Commission in Jubail, Eng. Jassim A. AL-Hejji has received the Secretary General of the Building Codes Implementation Committee, Dr. Mohammed Abdulrauf Hussain, and committee members in the presence of a number of RCJ officials.
Engineer Hejji welcomed the visiting delegation and briefed them on the idea of constructing Jubail Industrial City, pointing out that JIC has the infrastructure appropriate to attract huge investments in petrochemicals and feedstock industries. Eng. AL-Hejji added that the RC offers large scale facilities to help investors in all sectors, showing the delegation the latest developments in Jubail 2 and the reaction of the private sector to invest in it. The delegation toured the exhibition sections to see the urban and industrial development in Jic. Both parties attended two presentations one by AL-Madina AL-Muanwarah Municipality, and the other by the Royal Commission on building codes implementation in both Jubail & Yanbu Industrial Cities. The visit was concluded by a tour to the Community Area, starting with Jubail Industrial College, then Al-Nakheel beach, City Center, Fanateer beach, Fanateer residential district, followed by another tour to the Industrial Park comprising primary, secondary and support industry parks.
On his part, Dr. Mohammed Abdulrauf Hussain praised the efforts exerted by the Royal Commission. Addressing the RC officials, he added that Jubail Industrial City has become a unique modern city and achieved global status in a relatively short time, hoping that we could make use of opportunities available in different sectors of the city.
