RCH Launches The Biggest Sport Program for Emphasizing Positive Values and Behavior Guiding for 5000 Students in 16 Schools in the RIC
recently the Educational Services Dept. of RCJ   ., launched, ,  a program under the title “ The Upright Athlete” in 16 primary schools with the participation of more than 5000 students. The objective of the program is to promote the positive values and guide the behavior of our students to build their personalities, enhance their behavior and strengthen the basic values as well as their independence. Furthermore, it targets the students for encouraging positive behavioral practices and integrating them into sport skills in a learning environment supporting sports and behavioral creativity.
 
 The program is based on five values: respect, modesty, teamwork, effort, and self-development. Students are taught and trained on these values by play through several stages, beginning with the stage of preparation through which the teacher explains the value and its theoretical usages. Then, the practical application of acquiring value in the minds of students comes next through recreational yet competitive activities and sports. At the end of the lesson, evaluation is done through a dialogue session, which includes asking some questions about the value and its usage in everyday situations.
 
  “The Upright Athlete” Program is considered as the largest sports program launched by the Educational Services Dept. to target a large segment of students with a 30-week-plan which are divided through the academic year, where, , the program values are applied weekly during the physical education and school activities. Eventually, a sports festival will be organized at the end of the academic year, including games and competitions that will enhance the target values and honoring all students who have shown positive improvement.
    
the program of the “ The Upright Athlete” comes within the strategic plan of the Educational Services Dept. to develop the methods and approaches of teaching, learning and evaluation which promote the values and the basic skills of students while improving a safe educational , stimulating, creativity environment and innovation.
