The Royal Commission in Jubail has recently launched an engineering offices pre-qualification program for the private sector projects in presence of a large number of consultants and engineering offices' representatives. They were familiarized with the pre-qualification mechanism and its elements which are based on the assessment of human resources (HR), machines, equipment, systems, computer software, agencies that have pre-qualified and approved offices together with years of experience.
Engineer, Mansour Dhafer Alobaidi, Director of Project Management Dept. of the Royal Commission in Jubail, said that the pre-qualification program shall be for design and supervision which shall contribute to establish a strong economic base for the engineering sector in the industrial cities as well as the excellence of commercial, residential and industrial projects.
Eng. Alobaidi mentioned that the engineering offices pre-qualification program shall preserve the value added projects in the industrial cities, establish for new industries and assure quality and safety implementation in the private sector's projects.
It is stated that as of 1st of Jumada II ,1439, no pre-qualified office shall be dealt with and all pre-qualification requests shall be received in Sha’ban and no requests shall be accepted after 1/9/1438. The pre-qualification process shall be conducted by a specialized team from specialized departments in the Royal Commission.
