Royal Commission in Jubail Insures Food Safety in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair Industrial Cities.

Based on Royal Commission’s keeness to implement the food safety program, and to guarantee the effective control over the quality of fried food prepared at various food facilities in Jubail & Ras Al-Khair Industrial Citites. Property Department of RC in Jubail has performed inspection tours to ensure the quality of oils used at various food facilities in the city; to ensure that oils used during cooking and preparation processes is safe, to monitor its temperature and check its suitability for human consumption  by using frying oil quality testers.

The tours have covered restaurants and food facilities in Jubail Technical College, Jubail  Technical Institute, fast food chain restaurants, canteens, cafeterias, hotels and hospitals.

The tour has shown that that most of food facilities owners are adhering to the health conditions, thanks to God, then to the continuous follow-ups conducted by the RC Environmental Health team and the effective training of all food facility workers on the implementation of health regulations.

RCJ pursues more progress the field of food safety and citizens awareness of the importance of adopting correct procedures to guarantee food safety.

Appropriate measures have been taken against non-compliant facilities with the oil temperature set, and all  food facilities were obliged to keep frying oil quality testers to ensure that food is safe and harmless.
