Knowledge and Creativity Center and FAB-LAB Jubail, of RCJ shall participate in Space Hackathons Challenge which will start on the 27th of April, and for two-days. RCJ in collaboration with Geeks Valley Project shall design innovative solutions for challenges that face astronauts.
The Space Apps Challenge is an international software competition that is held every year by NASA since 2012. The technology experts, scientists, designers, artists, intellectuals, business men, developers and students meat together to find solutions to improve the quality of life on Earth and Space.
Anyone with plenty of skills or the passion to change the world, can participate in this event and register through the official website of the competition in Saudi Arabia ( spaceappssaudi.com ). Jubail Industrial City is one of the cities selected for hosting the competition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Before the commencement of the competition, there shall be a preparatory day for inauguration to help the participants to be ready and refine their skills.

It is worth mentioning that Jubail FABLAB is an integrated digital manufacturing Lab established as a result of a productive partnership between the Royal Commission in Jubail and the private sector. The lab is located at the Knowledge and Creativity Center ,Jubail Industrial City.
The FABLAB seeks to develop the spirit of creativity and innovation to society through organizing manufacturing workshops to let the visitors know how to transform their ideas into prototypes, to organize manufacturing and modeling competition between inventors and innovators as well as arranging school visits and special workshops for male/female students.
