RCJ Project Management Department received during the first six months of this year,, 1580 electronic applications through Shamel System, including construction permits, drawings review , final inspection, and the certificate of occupancy.
The Royal Commission returned the percentage of 8.3%, (147) applications to the beneficiaries to complete the necessary procedures while started to finalize (1352) applications of which 86.6% were completed, and the percentage of 5.1%)81( applications are under process.
The Royal Commission explained that performance indicators are one of the initiatives aimed at developing the RC work and improving the level of services provided to the beneficiaries, emphasizing that the percentage of completion and delay in the indicators is based on the implementation period. The electronic issuance of renovation permits for the housing units takes (45) minutes, and all permits shall be electronically issued as in the future.
Shamel System is used as a unified electronic portal to apply, follow up and issue the applications electronically by the beneficiaries, in order to facilitate the work of the Royal Commission and upgrade quality of work and accuracy of system outputs.
