Saudi Council of Engineers were Briefed about the Experience of the Greatest Industrial Channel Digged by Human
 
A delegation from the Saudi Council of Engineers, headed by engineer Khalid Almulhim, Cooling and Air-Conditioning Division Director, visited the Royal Commission in Jubail. Engineer Bandar Alzneaid, head of Residential Buildings Maintenance Section, and a number of engineers in the Buildings Department Operation and Maintenance Sector, welcomed delegation at the Visitors Center.
 
The delegation discussed RC’s efforts with the specialists in the Buildings Department the in the field of Cooling and Air-Conditioning in Jubail Industrial City and the ways to exchange experiences. The delegation were briefed about the Greatest Industrial Channel  digged by Human to cool industry by using sea water with a length of 11 km. The channel was designed so that water withdrawn from the sea would never meet the one returning back to sea whose temperature will not be affected by the cooling works so that marine life may be preserved.
 
Moreover, They were briefed about the RC’s Energy Management Program launched in 2015 and achieved results by the end of 2016 by reducing the city total consumption by 17%.
 
It was agreed to exchange experiences, organic workshops and future meetings between the two parties.
 
The delegation toured the Visitors Center where they were briefed about the early stages of the establishment of Jubail Industrial City, the infrastructure and the services also they watched a documentary film about RC.
