The International Energy Agency (IEA) Views the most Prominent Industrial Transformations at the Royal Commission
​The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Commission in Jubail, Eng. Adnan bin Ayesh Al-Alouni, received the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, Dr. Fatih Bairul and the delegation accompanying him, with presence of a number of officials of the Royal Commission in Jubail. The purpose of the visit was to view the Royal Commission's importance in the industry and investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the distinctive infrastructure and a being the cornerstone in the economic transformation of the Kingdom, in addition to its worldwide leadership in the construction of industrial cities as per special standards.

Eng. Ahmad Nooreddin Hasan, the general manager of Technical Affairs in the RC, presented a detailed presentation about the investment vision for RC, future projects, the professional mechanism in the implementation and follow-up of projects, and the most prominent elements of success in the industrial city of Jubail, such as the strategic location and geographical area, the diversity of existing industries, the pioneering infrastructure, the distribution of the city's residential sectors and the Sea Water Cooling System, which is the largest in the world.
 
The delegation was also familiarized with the economic center of Jubail industrial city, which spreads over 2.75 million square meters. It consists of a public sea front on three sides, as well as a commercial center for the factories and adjacent areas. After that, Dr. Berrol and his accompanying delegation visited the Almottaheda company.
 
It is worth to mentioning that the International Energy Agency is an international organization working in the research, development and marketing of energy technology and its uses.
