Eng. Sultan A. Alkhurasi, General Manager of Operation and Maintenance RCJ, launched yesterday the Operation and Maintenance Projects Management Office in Jubail Industrial City in the presence of Eng. Ahmed M. Hasan, General Manager of Technical Affairs RCJ and a number of officials.
Eng. Mohammed Al-Zahrani, Director of Operation and Maintenance Sector Projects Office, said that the office aims to develop specific mechanisms to facilitate the management of RC projects to conform with the Kingdom’s National Transformation. Develop a clear, fast, flexible, changeable and measurable mechanism correlated to the vision and mission of the Royal Commission and the Operation and Maintenance sector and in line with the National Transformation of the Kingdom.
Al-Zahrani stressed that one of the Office objectives is to develop the human and technical capabilities to better manage projects and use the flexible principle (Agile-Management) which divides large works into small works to make it understandable for the team and to avoid the previously faced obstacles by the team using the traditional ways .
Al-Zahrani pointed to the use of the “Collaboration” Concept in the Office's policy. It is the cooperation and integration with all success stockholders, including consultants working with the team in determining the scope of the shift in Asset Management.
The main objective is to serve the population of Jubail Industrial City in a professional and distinctive manner to reach the highest goal of transforming the city into a smart city by the end of 2022.
