The Royal Commission in Jubail achieved the Excellence Award for Maintenance and Reliability at 5th MIDDLE EAST MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY CONFERENCE. The Conference was held in the presence of the Bahraini Minister of Oil Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and a number of officials of the largest Gulf companies in Manama. The award was received by the General Manager of Operation and Maintenance Sector RCJ, Eng. Sultan Al-Khuraisi, who commented that the award came as a an outcome of the infrastructure of Jubail Industrial City and the durable operation and maintenance system of the Royal Commission.
The Chairman of the Gulf Society for Maintenance and Reliability (GSMR) and the awarding entity, Eng. Nezar Al Shammasi , said that the award was developed this year to improve maintenance and reliability. He, also, announced that three entities won this award including the Royal commission in Jubail.
Chairman of SCE Operation & Maintenance Chapter, Eng. Abdullah Bin Ibrahim Al-Mekhwi, pointed out that RCJ winning or Excellence Award for Maintenance and Reliability at the level of the GCC reflects the distinctive standard accomplished by RCJ in the design and implementation of its strategies in facilities maintenance. . Al-Mekhwi, added; “We have seen this during our visit this year to the Center of Excellence for Asset Management and the Storm drainage Control Center at Royal Commission in Jubail”.
It is worth mentioning that this award means excellence in maintenance and reliability by highlighting the best innovative solutions in the areas of maintenance and reliability which has been presented to many public and private bodies at the the GCC.
