NCUSAR Visits Jubail Industrial City
The organization of the National Council on US-Arab Relations (NCUSAR) headed by the Vice President and Director of Business Development for NCUSAR, Mr. Pat Mancino has visited Jubail Industrial City with accompanying student delegation. Being an experienced industrialist, Mr. Mancino has been considered an economic asset to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for producing a couple of numbers of production resources that created massive investments for foreign investors.
Composed of ten (10) US university students, Mr. Mancino and his delegation was greeted upon their arrival at the Royal Commission Visitor Center by HE Dr. Ali bin Hassan Assiri, General Manager of Colleges and Institutes of Royal Commission in Jubail, as well as the officials of Jubail faculties and universities.
“The aim of our mission is to improve our understanding, our deep history of relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia and to impart our impression upon the future generation represented by a delegation of 10 US university students who are entering their senior year at universities from across United States. They will go back to their local communities and be ambassadors, the spokespeople for the Kingdom for Saudi Arabia based on their real impression of Saudi Arabia not what they’ve heard from the media but upon the knowledge and the impression that they have received from people all across the Kingdom,” Mr. Mancino said.
After a brief tour at the Visitor Center exhibition, the student delegation travelled around the region’s residential and industrial area before heading the Saudi Arabian Mining Company. Later, Mr. Mancino commented that he expected to see a small city of Jubail but what he saw is the Guiness Book of World Records, where evolving industrialization can be seen and Jubail is obviously an attestment in the continuing modernization in Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that NCUSAR organization, an American non-profit, non-governmental educational organization, founded in 1983 by its President and Chief Executive, Dr. John Duke Anthony, has been dedicated to improving understanding of the American and Arab community and bringing together Arab and Western civilizations
