Royal Commission Inaugurates 9th Annual Career Day

 Dr. Mosleh bin Hamad Al-Otaibi, CEO of the Royal Commission in Jubail, opened on Sunday, June 6, 2010, 9th Annual Career Day, organized by Jubail Industrial College (JIC), with the presence of a number of Royal Commission officials. The two-day career event was participated by a large number of institutions and companies from government and private sectors aimed at creating job opportunities to individuals with technical and administrative competencies.

After a tour at the job exhibition, Dr. Otaibi, in his speech, stressed that young citizens should be well-informed about their chosen field of expertise, possibly identifying job nature and companies job availability for landing a successful job employment in the companies of their choice. He also asserted that Royal Commission  have the guidance of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu to facilitate recruitment of young job seekers.

“More than 30 companies and institutions have participated in the 9th Career Day and created more than 150 job opportunities, which reflected JIC’s significant role in youth rehabilitation, thereby granting them opportunity to participate in the process of the country’s re-construction and development. Career Day also aim to deepen the knowledge of college students to become competitive in Saudi labor market looking for technical and scientific expertise to fill in some posts,” JIC Faculty official said.

Jubail Industrial College has employed annual event if this kind as part of the institution’s role in imparting education, providing essential training, thus helping the citizens in their future job employment. JIC commended Royal Commission in Jubail for sponsoring such event as the officials were pleased for an overwhelming response from the students.
