Royal Commission Hospital treats patient with “Brugada Syndrome”
Royal Commission through the management of health services medical team recently treated and saved an ailing Filipino citizen under 41 years of age suffering from ventricular fibrillation (a lethal arrhythmia) characterized with abnormal heartbeat.
 
The patient who was admitted first at the RCH Emergency Room was later found out to have suffered from Brugada syndrome, a genetic disease that is characterised by abnormal electrocardiogram (ECG) findings and usually attacks middle-aged males with an increased risk of sudden cardiac death. These complications typically occur when an affected person is resting or asleep.
 
It is worth mentioning that Royal Commission were able to deal and deliver the best care and services in uncommon situations through continuing education of preventive medicine, enhanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures successfully carried out by medical team under Royal Commission Health Program.
