Royal Commission and Charity for Food (Eta’am) organization signed a Memorandum of Agreement
Royal Commission for Jubail under the auspices of HE Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mosleh H. Al-Otaibi and the Charity for Food (Eta’am) organization represented by the Secretary-General and Executive Director Mr. Hamad Mohammad Al-Dhewalia signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Lease of Agreement on Monday held in Royal Commission for Jubail building.
 
CEO Dr. Mosleh expressed that Royal Commission for Jubail is always proactive in supporting such charitable works which contributes to consolidating and strengthening the culture of volunteerism among its citizens, ensuring also that the commission will provide full assistance and cooperation in the organization in all the events that will be held in Jubail Industrial City.
 
Royal Commission in contribution to the organization’s undertaking has agreed to lease a building in support industries area where the group can further promote and intensify their activities and events while in Jubail Industrial City. Lease agreement so provides that periodic inspection will be conducted by the commission to ensure that conditions and requirements are followed in accordance with the agreement while practicing their activities. While several axes of partnership and cooperation under memorandum of understanding have been discussed by the two parties especially concerning issues on food preservation by organizing various educational exhibition, feeding programs and awareness campaigns.
 
Mr. Hamad Mohammad Al-Dhewalia on behalf of his group has expressed his appreciation for this significant partnership with Royal Commission thereby helping them extend their activities in the city of Jubail also taking in consideration the commission’s commitment in spreading the culture of food preservation in the region. He further relayed that the organization will be holding special programs for schools where students would play active role to better understand the objectives and activities of their group. Mr. Hamad also pointed out that a number of companies have already showed their cooperation with the organization such as SABIC and Aramco and lots of people are willing to help and participate in the work of this charity organization.
 
It is worth mentioning that Charity for Food (Eta’am) a non-profit organization was licensed and registered  under the umbrella of Ministry of Social Affairs where its main goal is to create awareness in the society about food preservation. Its main headquarter is located in Novotel hotel in Dammam.
