Under the patronage of HH Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu through collaboration with Sabic Company launched last Saturday the training program under the theme “ Cooperative Project for Saudization of Contractors Jobs in the cities of Jubail and Yanbu”. The project which has been supported by Human Resources Development Fund and various contractors working with Sabic aims to effectively contribute to unemployment reduction by means of training, rehabilitation and employment of qualified nationals to eventually replace foreign labor contractors with Sabic companies.
The program also earned support from Jubail Industrial College, Jubail University College and Jubail Technical Institute working out on a plan to produce about a thousand trainees per year providing them with intensive and distinctive training programs with the highest level of specialties needed by the labor market to positively ends employment with one of the companies or contractors working for Sabic.
Sabic through the support of various industrial sectors including Royal Commission launched series of initiatives in the cities of Jubail and Yanbu in the presence of HH Prince Saud and the Minister of Labor, Engr. Adel in Mohammed Al-Fakieh. This initiative reflects Sabic’s efforts to increase saudization rates for indirect employees and as such supporting the program with regard to contractors jobs localization.
