Royal Commission in Jubail spearheaded by Social Services Department organized last Tuesday the 2nd annual election of social club for retired employees held in RC-Social Service Camp in Abu Ali. The event was attended by more than 50 members of the club.
Nine (9) club members volunteered and presented their platform for the nomination to occupy one of the five seats in the Council under the supervision of a committee who will monitor their work. While representative for Saudi Association of Retired Person who will be nominated for a full year term should be a bonafide member of the club, where membership is free and voting of the candidates will last on Sunday, 16 October 2011. Roles of the candidates have been stated during the nomination procedure.
This is the second time in a row that election was held to allow all retired employees to express their views in all transparency. Social club presently with more than 130 members have enjoyed club’s amenities such as the library, function hall, games and entertainment facilities.
