Royal Commission for Jubail Volunteer Club through the sponsorship of a number of petrochemical companies organized on Saturday a school bag distribution project for the needy students relative to school opening for this year 2013 held in Dareen Sea Club.
The distribution of more than 1000 school bags to the children of needy families will spearhead by Jubail Volunteer Club through the help and participation of staff and members of leading Petrochemical companies in the region. The school bags containing of 18 assorted school supplies and special commemorative gifts for national day to the needy students will be distributed through charitable institutions in Jubail Industrial City and Ras Tanura.
This initiative of Jubail Volunteer Club comes in aid of achieving social solidarity among community members and in filling the needs of the less fortunate school children at the beginning of academic school year.
It is noteworthy to note that Jubail Volunteer Club under the management of Royal Commission through supervision of Social Services Department has been established to promote the culture of volunteerism at all levels being an individual or institution to raise awareness on the overall development of community and social service.
