Royal Commission for Jubail participates in the 2nd Traffic Safety Forum
Royal Commission for Jubail has recently participated in the 2nd Traffic Safety Forum and Exhibition launched by Governor of Eastern Province , His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif,  under the theme  “Traffic Safety: National Partnership and Social Responsibility."
 
Royal Commission’s participation in the said forum/exhibition also highlights the success of the commission in the design and implementation of a comprehensive engineering road specifications taking into account providing 362 surveillance cameras to monitor the traffic safety of the entire city population, supplying 102 smart traffic techniques and equipment to monitor the roads safety and facilitate the movement of vehicles in Jubail Industrial City.
 
In addition, Royal Commission has also laid out  plans for an immediate ambulance attendance during traffic accidents in coordination with Royal Commission hospital and Department of Industrial Security taking charge of the main control room to monitor road accidents and the task of regulating any traffic control violations in the city. While the same efforts has been put in conducting traffic awareness programs involving various department and agencies operating in Jubail Industrial City.
 
During the exhibition, Royal Commission’s Roads Department provided visitors and expectators brief explanation with regards to specialized traffic safety unit for tracking road management while also providing details on the continuing reviews on the surveillance cameras in the city in monitoring traffic accidents and demonstrating model for smart traffic signal presenting method of operation, control and management through intelligent traffic system.
