French delegation seeks investment opportunities in Jubail Industrial City
French delegation comprising of 35 investors representing a number of French companies and enterprises from different sectors including technology, oil and gas and even from service sector visited on Sunday the Royal Commission for Jubail to look for investment opportunities in the industrial and commercial area within the industrial city of Jubail.
France Total’s Director for Human Development in Industrial zone of Jubail 1 and 2, Mr. Ji Lotta and his accompanying delegation were fascinated during their tour at the residential and industrial areas to see the remarkable developments in the city marked with huge infrastructures and large petrochemicals and manufacturing industries in the city of Jubail.
After the tour, the delegation met a number of Royal Commission officials inside the Visitor Center where they were also toured and briefed on the significant role played by the Royal Commission in providing the infrastructures aimed at attracting foreign investors through the provision of various services that made Jubail Industrial City a cornerstone when it comes to petrochemical and manufacturing spot in the Kingdom, and the reason which created the establishment of a number of industries by international companies and has provided numerous jobs to workers.
Delegation’s arrival has played important part in their series of visit to also discuss ways of joint cooperation and trade relation between France and Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that French companies are the leading investors in Jubail Industrial City through Jubail Refinery industry built by SATORP and also through partnership with Saud Aramco with each respective shares of 62.5% and French company Total’s 37.5 were able to produce 400,000 barrels of oil/day.
