Jubail Volunteer Club assess programs and plans for International Volunteer Day
Royal Commision Jubail Volunteer Club-Executive Board members recently held their meeting to discuss and review its planned programs in lieu of the International Volunteer Day. At the meeting, the club has agreed to carry out various activities including special day for special people with special needs, blood donation campaign, patients visitation and to mark the opening of their new branch office in Jubail Industrial College.
Also during the meeting, the club drafted the proposed launching of the 1st Olympic Volunteer Day this month that will target high school students. At the conclusion of the meeting, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ghamdi, Chair Unit Head of Training and Development provided the club members with a symbolic gift on the occasion of International Volunteer Day.
It is noteworthy to note that the meeting was the 4th of Jubail Volunteer Club Executive Council, under the management of Royal Commission through supervision of Social Services Department, and established to promote the culture of volunteerism at all levels being an individual or institution to raise awareness on the overall development of community and social service.
