Royal Commission hands up preparations for the 15th Jubail Gardens and Plants Festival
People of Jubail Industrial City eagerly await for the opening of the15th Jubail Gardens and Plants Festival organized by the Royal Commission represented by Afforestation and Irrigation Management under its theme: A green city… a healthy environment.
 
The event which will run for 10 days will be participated by more than 50 companies and institutions specializing in the field of agriculture and landscaping in addition with a number of government agencies and special participation of the Municipality of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
The festival aims to educate its visitors and instill them environmental awareness by introducing them with plants and flowers, their values and benefits to humans.  Various agriculture products and garden supplies for household use will also be available during the event while a number of educational and recreational activities will be arranged for the attendees of the event.
 
Director of Landscaping and Irrigation Dept. and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Engr. Saleh bin Mufleh Al-Mutairi echoed his appreciation for the valuable efforts and contributions of various committees, agencies and institutions for the preparation of this festival and hoped that the event will help stimulate tourism in the city and spark residents and visitors interest in environmental conservation and afforestation.
