RC Launches Tareeq 1 to Tareeq 4 Intersection Bridge

Royal Commission in Jubail on July 10, 2010, Saturday morning, commenced intersection of Bridge 1 to Bridge 4 connecting Jubail Industrial City in the middle of Aldawi district, which will serve as new residential areas in addition to the existing residential areas in Jalmuda district.  

Mr. Ahmed Mutair Al-Balawi, General Manager of Technical Affairs of Royal Commission in Jubail, remarked that this bridge, which took three months of completion, would greatly contribute to ease the movement of traffic and guarantees work settlement in terms of storm’s water drainage and flood control system, lighting, which has based the bridge construction according to the latest specifications and international standards. He also pointed out that RC worked with the contractor double time to speed up its delivery with aim of serving its residents and visitors the soonest possible time. “The second bridge is the intersection of 4 with 6, which is currently put into operation and it will be opened shortly as soon as RC built bridges parallel accordingly to its general plan,” said Mr. Al-Balawi.

It is noteworthy to mention that this bridge would serve a number of districts in Jubail Industrial City and would facilitate modification especially in lighting the bridges to help smooth the traffic flow and provides quick access  to other areas in line with the ever-increasing population  in the city.
