Governor of Eastern Province honors Al-Deffi Secondary School
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Eastern Province honored on Tuesday at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry building the Al-Deffi Secondary School in Jubail Industrial City after being awarded 1st Place in Best Practices in the Quality of School Education (Simulation Field) for academic year 2012-2013G (1433-1434H) organized by King Fahad bin Abdulaziz Quality Center.
 
Fifty (50) vying schools from Eastern Region competed for the prestigious award wherein from Boy’s schools emeged 14 schools from Eastern Education, 3 from Al-Ahsa and 3 from Hafr Al-Batin while from Girl’s schools came 12 from Eastern Education, 9 schools from Al-Ahsa Education and 9 from Hafr Al-Batin Education, all these schools combined under government and private sectors.

Six (6) schools in the region also received certificate of excellence in the same field in addition to some financial reward. The ceremony which comes within the center’s framework for educational excellence is also one of the development initiatives of King Fahad bin Abdulaziz Quality Center to achieve more qualitative leap in the process of education.
 
It is noteworthy that series of these achievements received by schools in local or international levels was due to the untiring support and special attention given by HH Chairman of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan Al-Saud to the commission on its continuing quest in pursuit of quality education  through implementation of various school developmental projects and school building equipped with latest design and facilities.
