His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan Al-Saud, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) inaugurated on Sunday a number of development projects in Jubail Industrial City worth SR1.24 billion. The projects included health facilities, schools, roads and housing units.
During the inauguration, His Highness expressed that the growth evolution of the cities of Jubail and Yanbu in areas of industrial and residential development is a product of support and patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques who also laid the foundation of these projects in his earlier visit to Jubail Industrial City. The inauguration, according to His Highness, has perhaps coincided with the 80th anniversary of the unification of Saudi Arabia to reap the benefits planted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the preservation of country's safety and security, pride and glory.
His Highness begun his tour in an opening visit to Al-Ahsa secondary school, accompanied by His Excellency Chief Executive Officer of Royal Commission in Jubail, Dr. Mosleh bin Hamad Al-Otaibi and a number of senior officials of RC. They toured around and then watched a presentation on various educational programs that the school has implemented. Then His Highness inaugurated three new schools, including schools for girls and school for boys which can accommodate 2,200 students, situated in 4613 square meters which includes 25 chapter model and rooms for sports activities, science laboratory, language area, computer rooms, library, health facilities and a multi-purpose cafeteria.
Subsequently, His Highness inaugurated a number of RC hospital’s health projects which included the opening of Renal Unit, Gamma Rays, Lithotripsy as well as the Cardiac Catheterization Unit. His Highness toured the hospital while at the same time being briefed about its renovated facilities, patients’ conditions and various services offered.
His Highness also launched the opening of the second bridge which is the intersection of 4 with 6 at the mid Fanateer district and will serve the existing residential areas Jalmudah and Darren districts.
His Highness concluded the various inauguration projects by launching the delivery of 1st phase of housing units allocated for Royal Commission in Jubail staff consisting of 2600 units in Darren district al-Fanateer where he ordered accuracy and transparency in the process of delivery.
