His Highness the Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu received in his office in Jubail Industrial City, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the accompanying delegation who were briefed on the services provided in development and service fields.
Within the framework of the visit program, HE the Minister met the Royal Commission officials and attended, as well as heads of companies and businessmen in Jubail Industrial City, a presentation on the Royal Commission's works and accomplishments. The meeting focused on several matters in commercial, investment and Industrial fields together with the services and facilities provided by the Royal Commission in Jubail.
HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry thanked the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, represented by HH Prince Saud Bin Thanayyan Al-Saud, for the invitation to visit Jubail Industrial City, pointing out that the visit was positive and he was proud of Saudi Industry and the Industrial Sectors he visited. There are projects worth billions of Riyals that will bolster and serve the Kingdom's industrial trend. Moreover, HE praised the Royal Commission's role in preparing highly standardized and ideal infrastructure expressing his admiration of what he saw during his visit to Jubail Technical Institute (JTI) and Industrial Development Center. HE was also briefed on the industrial incubators which he described as a wonderful idea. Meanwhile, HE highlighted the Royal Commission's role in qualifying trainees in JTI where Saudi youths are properly trained for industrial labour market.
It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Commerce and Industry made a tour to residential community and the two industrial areas: Jubail 1 and Jubail 2. HE also visited the facilities and industries that included JTI where he met the officials and inspected various departments. Moreover, he visited the Industrial Development Center and the Industrial Incubators there. The JTI officials presented a detailed explanation on the establishment and the goals of the institute and its role in training and graduating high technically qualified cadres suitable for industrial labour market. Furthermore, HE was also briefed on the cranes training workshop and met Saudi cadres to be qualified for driving such cranes and meeting the requirements of the Saudi labour market in this field. After that, HE visited the Support Industrial Park, SATORP Co., SADARA Co. Project in Jubail 2 and Saudi Kayan Co. in Jubail
