A DELEGATION FROM FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, KING ABDULAZIZ UNIVERSITYIN JEDDAH, VISITS JUBAIL INDUSTRIAL COLLEGE
Dr. Khaled S. Bahakeem, the Director of Jubail Industrial College, has lately received a delegation from Faculty of Engineering, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, led by Dr. AbdulrahimKinssarah, Faculty of Engineering Dean, who was accompanied by Dr. Mohammad Kabeli, Vice Dean of Development, and Dr. Mohammad Al-Jiheni, Head of Nuclear Engineering Department.  JIC Directorwelcomed the guests  followed by a conversation on mutual interest issues, particularly in the academic accreditation field and exchange of expertise between the two parties in this respect.
The visit was within the framework of reciprocal academic visitation program between universities and JubailIndustrial City colleges and institutes that aim at discussing ways academic cooperation and exchange of expertise between specialists in work shared fields.
The delegation held a meeting with Dr. Mohammad Al-Yammi,  JIC Vice Dean for Curriculum Upgrading and Quality Assurance in which the delegation was briefed of JIC capabilities, academic and services facilities, academic excellence and services provided to the students.  The delegation, afterwards, made a tour in some science divisions where the delegation members viewed some modern laboratories prepared by JIC for students and trainees.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their delight for witnessing JIC experience and the methods used in learning, training, and qualifying Saudi young people. They also praised JIC’s outstanding ability to meet the labor market needs in terms of disciplines and the high standards of qualification and training of national human resources.
