DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION 2B IN COMMUNITY AREA.

Short Description

The Royal Commission intends to construct new substations facilities to provide power to the expansion area of JCPDI. The work of this contract includes all engineering, procurement and construction activities required to provide complete and functional electrical power system installations with major components as described below. All work is in JCPDI. The new 132/13.8 kV Substation SS2B shall consist of the following:

 

1.        Six (6) 132/13.8 kV 50/63 MVA transformers.

 

2.        6-dias of 132kV Breaker-and-a-Half configuration.

 

3.        Two (2) underground 132 kV cable circuits to SS1A (approximately 11km), using 2-2000mm2 CU/XLPE 132kV cable per phase arranged in a "flat" formation, cross-bonded configuration including the necessary fiber optics communication cables.

 

4.        Eight (8) 14-bay 13.8 kV, Indoor Metal Clad, Arc-proof, vacuum type Switchgear with bus duct connections to power transformers and between 13.8kV bus sections.

The Period of performance is (1095) days.

Minimum Requirements

Bidder possess the  following valid requirements:

 

1)        Classification Certificate in the field of “  ELECTRICAL WORKS  ” issued by the Contractor Classification Agency.

2)       Zakat Certificate.

3)       Commercial Registration Certificate.

4)       Chamber of Commerce Membership Certificate.

5)       General Organization for Social Insurance Certificate.

6)       A Certificate from the Saudi Labor Office confirming that the bidder firm is in compliance with the required percentage of Saudization.

7)       A Certificate from the Saudi Labor Office confirming that the bidder firm has satisfied requirements of the program of “NITAQAT”.

8)       A Certificate of the Bidder’s Membership in the Saudi Contractors Authority.

Bidders who meet the afore mentioned requirements and wish to purchase the RFP documents may access to Supply Management Dept. website via the link provided below to complete registration process, purchase RFP documents  and obtain a soft copy of the  same. The price of RFP documents is SR (33,500).

 
Important Conditions

 

1-        RFP documents are non-transferrable and Firms/Establishments which have not purchased the RFP documents are not eligible to submit a proposal.

2-       The bidder shall submit copies of the required certifications, and attach them to the proposal at the bid opening session.

3-       If the bidder faces any difficulty in downloading the RFP documents, he shall immediately send an enquiry via the website “Customer Voice” link.
