H.E. Executive President for Royal Commission at Yanbu Launches The Internet Gateway of Urban Planning Department
Through the efforts of The Directorate General for Royal Commission at Yanbu to develop its Internet Gateway so it can become a main source to all the City's visitors and residents. H.E. Dr. Ala'a A. Nassif, Executive President for Royal Commission at Yanbu launched The Internet Gateway of Urban Planning Department in the presence of Divisions General Managers. H.E. also filled a poll about residents satisfaction in Yanbu Industrial City as the first resident of the city, in preparation to encourage all individuals to participate as HE assured that he has high expectation to upgrade the level of Internet Services in Yanbu Industrial City. Engr. Tawfeeq Yousef Rasheed – Technical Affairs General Manager – explained that this poll was founded out of The Directorate General's concern to upgrade standards of living for Yanbu Industrial City residents and to activate the society role to contribute to the city development. This poll was made as a tool to discover residents and citizens opinion which is considered the main source of information to prioritize the city's development. Engr. Waleed bin Hassan Dabbour – Director of Urban Planning Department – said that Urban Planning Department aims through its website and pages on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube to shorten the distance between Royal Commission staff and Royal Commission customers. He also noted that a new forum was founded by Urban Planning Department to meet the needs of Yanbu Industrial City's residents. Also, a special space was allocated to Yanbu Artists to respect their talents. As The General Supervisor of The Internet Gateway Engr. Abdullah bin Muhammed Al-Kharboosh stated that the site launching, will soon be followed by availability of – all Department services on The Gateway in cope of the government directions towards e-government services. He hopes that individuals would contribute in the City's development by their interaction and opinions that will help meet their expectations.
