The Scouts of the RCY complete their participation in Al- Hajj season
The RCY scouts team has completed their exceptional  participation in Al-Hajj public service camps this year 1435 AH, in both Mina and Arafat from 29/11 to 13/12/1435 H, along with other governmental sectors which are responsible for the service of pilgrims and insurance of their comfort to facilitate the performance of their holy rituals. The team consisted of 15 scouts. They were accompanied by  the scout  leader Mr. Jamil Al- Slimani. Their task included with  surveying and mapping of Arafat area, audit data, and issuing guide for Tawaf  institutions and relevant government sectors and guide lost pilgrims in the affiliated centers of Ministry of Hajj. As well as preventing Alafterash (Performing Hajj without permission) and confiscation of unlicensed street venders merchandise which are not subject to the supervision of Holy Makah municipalies. This was done in coordination with the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association. Their participation was awarded with excellency shield at the camps level.  The participation in the camps resulted in accurate work and good performance and dedication in the service of pilgrims and rciving Merit medals by members of the participating scouts from various regions of the Kingdom.
This excellence is the result of great interest and supportive activities managed by General education services department of the Royal Commission at Yanbu. This support reflects the importance of scouts in the field of volunteerism and service, especially to the pilgrims as well as its prominent role in raising social responsibility awareness towards public individuals and society.
