Organizing Committees are working day and night to prepare for the upcoming 3rd Saudi Downstream Forum which will be held during 3 – 4 Jumada Al-Awwal 1434 H (4 – 5 March 2014) at Yanbu Industrial City. H.E. Dr. Alaa A. Nassif, Executive President of Royal Commission at Yanbu assured of the Royal Commission main role as “an engine” to the Kingdom economy development under the continuous support of His Highness Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thenaayyan, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Dr. Nassif added that the forum outcomes will help us to create a lot of future investment opportunities in Downstream Industries. Dr. Nassif said in a press release regarding this occasion … Yanbu Industrial City held its 1st Downstream Forum back in 2011 which explained the Kingdom’s role in supporting the petro-chemical industries under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.

The Forum primary objectives are consistent with the Kingdom plans to support economic growth by attracting more big investments Dr. Nassif added. In addition, there will be an Exhibition for Sponsors (Downstream Companies) from all over the world. The First and Second Forums (Yanbu 2011 and Jubail 2012) had many big global companies such as Exxon Mobil, DOW, Shell, Aramco and SABIC. Foreign companies were more than 20 – 30 participating exhibitors and around 600 delegates. In 2014, it is expected to see more companies. Thanks to the Royal Commission marketing efforts in cooperation with the organizing company, which lead a campaign to promote the Forum. For more
